Excellent communication skills, first hand knowledge and experience with both mental and physical health care. Everything I have learned has been hands on. Most jobs I have already been in the position as acting caregiver before any certification. I tend to do well under pressure so I welcome stressful situations and I am no stranger to learning on the go and the some somewhat rush pace comes quite naturally. While I welcome a fast paced environment I must say that my patience is quite the opposite. I’m slow to anger and I prefer a lengthy meaningful yet constructive conversation and any criticism is explained in a healthy manner so as not to be hurtful or offensive. I’m a firm believer that respectful communication is a key factor in all relationships. I love working with people and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Every healthcare position I have held has started out with me as a caregiver/volunteer. Although my intentions were not of this field I honestly have no regrets. My heart was made for this journey
