The world of 2025 will be significantly influenced by the outcome of the 2024 US election. A Harris presidency would likely continue the policies of Biden, while a Trump presidency would bring about significant changes, potentially leading to increased tensions in international trade, particularly between the US and China, as well as strained relations between the US and its allies. Domestically, US politics would also undergo a shift. Regardless of the election outcome, ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, the aftermath of the Israel-Hamas war, and tensions in the Indo-Pacific region will continue to pose geopolitical risks. Additionally, notable elections in Germany, Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, and Japan in 2025 could bring substantial policy changes.
