Software Developer (Forex & Futures Trading Systems)

As we expand our operations into futures trading, we seek an experienced Senior Software Developer to enhance our trading systems and drive our growth.
The Role:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing and enhancing our proprietary trading systems. You will work closely with a dedicated developer on trading applications, reporting to the IT Manager and ultimately the company owner. Your role will be crucial in enabling our company to tap into new markets and optimize our trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance trading systems using FIX protocol, C++, C#, and other programming languages.
- Collaborate with a specialized team to integrate new trading functionalities, focusing on both forex and futures markets.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through comprehensive testing and optimization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes and practices.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and other team collaboration activities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in software development, specifically with FIX protocol, C++, and C#.
- Strong background in forex trading systems; knowledge of futures trading systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology and trading.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, capable of effective communication with a global team.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.
Working Hours:
- Standard hours are 9 - 5 UK time, with flexibility to accommodate different time zones and project demands.
