Art Open Calls is a platform that connects writers, photographers, painters, filmmakers, and designers to worldwide opportunities in order to make the creative world more accessible and help emerging artists gain the exposure they deserve. They have a team that researches free open calls from various sources, divides them by deadline, media, and target, and posts them in an accessible way on social networks like Instagram as well as on their own website. This logo was conceived as a collective call to revolution: all artists united, ready to be recognized and valued for their work. The raised fist, a worldwide symbol of solidarity, support, and resistance, holds two art tools, a pencil, used not only for drawing but also for writing, and a brush, symbolizing not only painting but also many digital arts. The company already used this shade of pink for previous communications, so I decided to keep it for the new branding; the font was chosen to resemble handwriting in order to match the style of the design, moreover, the background of the image was changed in different pastel colors to differentiate the various the Instagram highlights.
