ChatApp UX and UI Design

Purpose & Scope:- Purpose: The main aim of the app was to enable the students within the institution to chat, collaborate, and share information related to their studies. System Scope: The system was designed and developed to be an iOS-based messaging application that can be used by students of a specific institute, a college, school, or a university. All the students could have the option to be able to add their institute at the time of signup, which allowed them to connect with other students of the same institute. Communication channels were created by users where they could share study-related videos, pictures, and documents. A user could search for other users on the network by using their unique username and communicate with only the people who are of the same institute. Our Role:- We were assigned this task to complete the domain analysis, prepare a report with all the user scenarios, and then come up with the clickable mockups that would help in detailed customer feedback, clearly understandable for the development team. Our BA team did very detailed research and prepared a Software Requirement Specification (SRS) document for the UX UI team. Our UX engineers and UI Designers did their own Research for the UX and UI, competitive analysis. wireframes, mockups, and prototypes were built with a user-friendly and seamless User Flow in mind. We took the Scrum method of Agile software development with 2-week sprints. Before each milestone, we had a meeting to go through the upcoming sprints, in order to ensure that each team member understood how the feature should work, to discuss how much time it should take and what were the expected results. Our Quality Assurance team performed testing at the end of each development sprint. After QA we passed the test version to the client for an Acceptance Test and then moved to the next milestone By moving this way we came to the final delivery of the chat app and delivered it to the client. End Product:- We provided a well-balanced, thoroughly researched report, as well as a clickable UX UI design with the best user experience and usability testing at the design level.
