UI of main sections of the app.
Here user picks either role of a estimation leader (Oracle) or a participant (Seer)
Here, the Oracle can pick and edit card decks, Seers, Red Flag, and decide whether to participate in estimation or not.
This is the main part of the app, where participants of the session choose cards with value that represents their estimate of the task or a project.
Examples of various steps of the estimation process.
These are snippets of various documents from the research phase: concept, discovery guide, problem statements, HMW, hypothesis, feature dream list, etc.

Affinity map and personas. Estimation app is an in-house solo project that I’ve done in an IT agency. It tackles usual issues with project estimations in both agile and waterfall teams. I have conducted research with various experts from the fields and crafted solutions based on UX insights from the research. The final product enables teams to give their estimates in group card voting sessions. In future iterations of the product, there would be additional features as time boxing and discovery checklists in order for a team member to assess their own preparedness for estimation of the project/task.
I have developed this project on my own, from UX research phase to the prototype phase, with occasional sanity checks from stakeholders (CTO, etc.)
My role was:
- UX research: Interviews
- Affinity map
- User personas
- Problem statements, HMW, Hypothesis
- UX documentation, project proposal, and MVP feature set
- User Flow
- Feature prioritization
- Wireframes
- Screen Flow
- UI
- Branding and digital Illustration
- Prototyping
- Project management
