Project Objective: The objective of the project was to create projections for a water filtration plant's sales of two products: 1.5-liter bottles and 600ml bottles. Data Analysis: Based on the data provided by the client, i analyzed the estimated costs associated with production, labor, delivery, and storage. i segregated the costs into variable and fixed costs to understand their impact on the overall profitability. Cost Breakdown: i prepared a detailed cost breakdown for each product, considering production costs and administrative costs separately. This breakdown helps in understanding the cost structure and profit margins for each product. Income Statement: Using the gathered data, i created an income statement for the entire year. The income statement provides a comprehensive overview of the projected revenue, costs of production, administrative costs, and ultimately, the expected profit or loss. Product Differentiation: By presenting the costs and sales figures for both the 1.5-liter bottles and the 600ml bottles, i highlight the product differentiation and its impact on the overall financial projections. Profitability Analysis: The projections enable an assessment of the profitability of the water filtration plant's operations. i presented key metrics such as gross profit, net profit, and profit margins to demonstrate the financial viability of the project. Decision Support: The projections serve as a valuable tool for decision-making. They provide insights into the expected financial performance, helping the client make informed decisions about investment, pricing, and resource allocation.
