Little by little Studio

The idea behind this project was to make the Communities resilient and believe they have all the tools and skills that are necessary to build sustainable, solid and long lasting architecture. Vanuatu faces all types of natural disasters, Volcano eruptions, Earth quakes, floods, cyclones. The traditional ways to build are getting forgotten and being replaced by cheap material and unadapted imported building procedures and material. When, with a little commodity improvement, their own architecture can resist these disasters, and their building process involves gender balance, forest management, waste reduction and long lasting safe shelter.
