What did the Washington Environmental Council need? Hilal helped Washington Environmental Council reach volunteers, beneficiaries, and supporters who speak a different language by translating their communications materials. Why is this project important? The photo exhibit will be on display at the Tukwila Community Center, which serves as an activity hub for a diverse English-speaking community. We hope to make this exhibit more inclusive and accessible to as many community members as possible, whose primary languages are Spanish, Somali, Vietnamese, American, and Ukrainian.
