Goal of this project was to achieve scalability and availability of microservices for IoT devices. I was responsible for writing optimized backend APIs and providing data in JSON format to the web dashboard. I was also responsible for maintaining the quality of code and its test coverage. The biggest challenge in this project was to handle a huge amount of data on the backend, storing and querying this data in an optimized way for reports on the dashboard. Resolved the above issues by splitting services into multiple microservices and storing data in elastic search for fast fetching.
