The Graduate Record Exams (GRE) is a standardized test for students who wish to study a graduate program or masters in business or even obtain a doctorate degree in different programs in universities overseas. 1000s of these institutions require the GRE score as an admission requirement. For this reason, more than 500,000 people from 160 countries sit for this test worldwide. The Educational Testing Services (ETS) are the designers, owners and administrators of the GRE test. They have over 1000 centers in over 160 nations. The test is organized at least once in a month in most countries, but thrice in some Asian countries throughout the year. As an adaptive computer-based test, the GRE test increase in difficulty level of questions based on how correctly a candidate answers questions in the first section.
