Hello! My name is Dilara. I’m an English-Russian translator. Born & raised in Azerbaijan I’m a native Russian speaker. Azerbaijan is a Post-Soviet country, so a lot of our citizens’ first language is Russian. I was born and raised in Baku which is a capital of Azerbaijan. 80% of the population of Baku are Russian speakers. English has always been my passion and I started learning it before even going to school. Currently I study Translation/Interpretation (English-Russian) at Baku Slavic University. I can accurately translate websites, apps, CVs and all kinds of written content from English to Russian and from Russian to English. From 2018 I’m making YouTube videos in English. I’m a very active student always taking part in different festivals and challenges. On 9 December 2021 I won a 2nd place prize in the video contest devoted to the Human Rights Day and organised by the European Union Delegation to Azerbaijan.
