My creative services experience is extensive and varied, and over the years I have written pretty much every type of creative, marketing and content project imaginable, for every channel. Though I started my career as a product copywriter before moving into management, for the last several years, my focus has been on SEO-optimized content writing, much of it done remotely. For the last 3+ years (pre-COVID-19), working as a contractor, I was the SEO Copywriter III at Best Buy, which included researching and writing buying guides, articles, YouTube video copy, new product copy, and revising metadata, all with an eye on SEO best practices, keywords and link-building. During that time, I also researched and wrote hundreds of product category text blocks. In each case, I researched the topic, determined optimal keywords and links, then planned the story/article outline before writing the article, text or post, along with the metadata. I'm an exceptionally good storyteller and writer, a thorough editor and an adept researcher and content creator, all with an eye toward optimizing SEO. I have worked with clients in many diverse industries, both B2B and B2C, including automotive, women’s and men’s clothing, healthcare, hospitals, senior care, outdoor recreation, financial services, travel accessories and more, always with brand, voice and style in mind. I've been a successful manager/mentor/motivator and project leader, I'm an excellent coworker who believes in teamwork and good communication, and I always do whatever is necessary to meet the deadline.
