I was born in Siaya County, North Alego Location in 1973. I did my KCSE in 1993 at Hono Sec. School. In 1999, I joined Securicor Security Services (Now G4S) and left in 2001. I joined Christian Children’s Fund-Rang’ala in 2002 as a volunteer and left in 2005 to join Women Action Forum for Networking (WAFNET) as a lead facilitator in the Maanisha project until 2010. I started my personal computer Bureau in Siaya town in 2011 where I developed interest in writing. My first book –The Grave Decade that shares out my experience with epilepsy for ten years-1987-1997 was published by an American publisher; Strategic Books Publishing and Rights Agency (SBPRA) in 2012. Due to the cost of publishing abroad and challenges in accessing publishing services from traditional publishers based in Kenya, I started my own publishing firm; Ariba Book Publishers (www.aribabookpublishers.co.ke) in 2014. The firm has published two of my books; Guava Strokes a memoir that tackles issues of extremes of corporal punishment in schools. My third book; The Sunset Honeymoon ; a fiction that tackles negative cultural practices and beliefs that fuel the spread of HIV/Aids was published in 2015. The two last books although new have received positive response from readers across the country. My firm has also published books written by other authors e.g Unmasking poetry by Nicholas Anyuor , the Director of communications-Migori County, Uyoma Heroes and Gladiators by Lwande Oneko, son to the freedom fighter the late Achieng Oneko among others.
