I am a Commercial Photographer with a discriminating eye, coupled with the technical knowledge needed in this digital age. I am an expert with the Macintosh operating system, digital cameras, capture software, and professional lighting equipment. I am also an experienced Digital Imaging Technician using Adobe Photoshop. I have captured images for clients to use in magazines, catalogs, packaging materials, point of purchase displays, and or the web. I do editing work, including color correction, retouching, image composites, and clipping paths. I have been working in the industry for over 25 years and have the experience and equipment to deliver images of the highest quality, and proper specifications for their intended use.

Product Photographer

Moved to the new Dillard's Fulfillment Center in Maumelle, Arkansas and joined the Corporate Advertising Division, where we produced images for advertising and the web. My responsibilities were to photograph products for store signs, E-catalogs, newspaper inserts, and the web site. Working with stylists and merchandise control people, my job was to get the products photographed, retouched, named, uploaded, and archived in a timely and efficient manner.

Digital Imaging manager/Technician

Was one of three individuals who started this studio from scratch. Devised the work flow, techniques, and best practices required to turn this into a fast paced, high volume studio which eventually produced hundreds of images per day. Responsibilities included managing the digital imaging area, scheduling and training freelancers, picking up raw images from the server to color correct, retouch, silhouette, composite, add shadows, crop, size, and reformat to make ready for publishing. Organized and archived images. Communicated with and transferred images to corporate office in Little Rock.

Handled all aspects of managing the satellite studio in Tupelo, Mississippi. This included scheduling of jobs, estimating and billing, equipment maintenance, merchandise control, prop procurement, location scouting, lighting set up, image capture, color correction, and image archiving. Also performed pre-press work as needed, which included image composites, clipping paths, scanning, and large format printing. Traveled to the Memphis studio on a regular basis when needed as well.
