My most relevant and recent experience within Proofreading & Editing is working with Hirstwood Training Ltd as a freelance copywriter, proofreader and close caption editor. I wrote something called "Sensory Recipes" for them which were a method on how to make sensory items for kids with special needs. I also proofread and edited their close captions for their videos, which were made for a Sensory Festival. This being my very first job as a Proofreader & Editor gave me the confidence I needed to know that I have what it takes to be a great Proofreader & Editor and also evoked my love for it, giving me even more drive and passion to excel in my career as a professional proofreader and editor. I have also spent several years as a fiction writer, writing and editing my own manuscript, which is 155, 000 words long.
