I am a notable print journalist. I have worked for a good number of Nigeria’s notable publications, such as The Punch, Daily Independent, The Nation, just to mention a few.
Over the years, I have also received industry training from the BBC and US-based media organisations on Conflict, Political and Economic reportage. My stories especially on crude oil struggles in the Niger Delta are widely syndicated on many online platforms both locally and internationally.
My career spans more than three decades, and within this period I have inspired and mentored many young journalists across Nigeria. I practice undiluted and creative journalism founded on truth, and also believes that the average practitioner should be able to ply his trade with the utmost ethical standards.
I am a 1987 graduate of History from the University of Uyo, Nigeria, where I was a student activist.
