I am 23 years old. I am currently attending San Jose State University majoring in Music. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. I moved and am currently living in the city of San Jose, CA. I have worked in different fields. I was a server/bartender in the restaurant industry for 5 years. I have also worked with my grandfather in construction projects throughout my life. At the moment I am studying to work in Music Production at my university.

My grandfather asked me for my help this year because he was offered to work and remodel on a couple houses. We remolded floors, installed new bathrooms, painted walls, installed new lights, and installed new doors. I have always worked with my grandfather while growing up. But since I had been out of work because of COVID-19, he asked me if I can help him out with him with these new projects that came up. I am very familiar with construction skills it is something I have done all my life.

At this job we would get customers that came to sit and eat while we serviced them. It showed me another version of customer service because it trained me to treat everyone that came in very special. I wanted them to enjoy their welcoming to our restaurant because I liked to give them the best service I can offer. I worked there for a while, and eventually became a bartender, this was a different experience because I learned to make cocktail drinks for people. I eventually got let go because lockdown caused by COVID-19.

At this job we basically took the orders of our customers, and made the drinks they wanted. It taught a lot about customer service, and interacting with people. It introduced me to having a certain schedule and working a certain amount of hours everyday. It showed me how to work with other people, and multitask. It made me experience a very fast pace of working. This was my first paying job I ever had.
