Working as a career firefighter for over 7 years, i was first introduced to software engineering after being appointed to a team in charge of implementing a department-specific mobile application to facilitate firefighter education and schedule management. From there grew my interest in mobile development which soon became my primary focus.
Discipline, work ethic and rigorous consistency are traits i carry from my past work experience.
I am driven by the desire to learn and my most comfortable work context is as part of a team. It is for this reason that my current learning focus is directed towards application architecture as it is my belief that strong architecture is a cornerstone of team efficiency.
