I was a cleaner for only three months before I was promoted to cleaning supervisor. Alongside my supervisory role, I continued with all of my physical cleaning duties which were shared equally between me and my team members. CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES: Removal of paint, cement and other DIY-related substances using appropriate methods, equipment and chemicals. Operation of Scrubber/dryer,Buffing machine,Wet Vac and other cleaning machinery Sweeping/Dusting , Mopping/Wiping using chemical solutions Cleaning of toilets and rest of bathrooms Vacuum cleaning Waste disposal SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring high-quality cleanliness throughout the store Managing and leading a team Arranging hours, and completion of timesheets Training staff, general and on licensed machinery Creating and maintaining a schedule in keeping to specification guidelines Communication between company and client Contacting machine maintenance and repair Ensuring an adequate, constant supply of chemicals and equipment via distributers Ensuring client and customer aspirations are met Identifying and improving on staff strengths and weaknesses
