Hi !
My name is Atique Abdullah and I am last year student perusing my bachelor in science (Computer Science) from FAST, National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (NUCES FAST).
As a final year student we are working on machine learning model that aim to supervise the detection and diagnosis of ocular (eye related) condition which are extremely subtle in their initial stages but poses a very significant threat to vison loss. The three main ocular conditions that our final year project encompass are Diabetic Retinopathy, Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Glaucoma which are responsible for an irreversible vision impairment in more than 19.6 million people around the globe. But this can be significantly slowed down and eventually cured if diagnosed in it's initial stages. This is where the art brilliance of machine learning come convenient in detection of extremely subtle ocular conditions.
For the accomplishment of this project and foreseeing the future prospect I have accomplished well acknowledged certification in the realm of Machine Learning from the very renowned Dr. Andrew Ng from online learning platform. The online learning experience was a bit challenging in the beginning but later being accustomed to the platform it was very joyful and encouraging.
