About

I am a native Indonesian speaker with skills in English teaching, Indonesian-English and English-Indonesian translating, transcribing, proofreading, copywriting and writing in general. As a CELTA-certified English teacher, I have sixteen years of experience in teaching English to speakers of other languages. Prior to that, I worked for about eight years as a secretary/ administrator and document translator for a Singaporean consultant contractor company (United Engineers Pte. Ltd.) for some Indonesian-based projects, and one year for an American insurance company basing in Indonesia (AIG Lippo) for the same position. I also do freelancing on translation, copywriting, and transcribing in my spare time all these years. The types of documents/ events I have translated so far are contractual, official letters/ memorandums/ agreements, etc, medical brochures, IT brochures, educational worksheets, etc, biblical books, social-economical, and business meetings (but not limited to those). I also write official letters, memorandums, contract drafting, and product-label copywriting in English. The last few clients I have worked with in translating and copywriting jobs are Ocean Health Pte. Ltd. (for product labels) and Hyphens Pharma Pte. Ltd. (for website translation).
