The Rowan Fund for their Futures
Feb 2021 – Present
Charlotte, North Carolina, USA
Founder and President
I founded The Rowan Fund in response to the unprecedented threat to students' educational attainment goals that has arisen from the COVID-19 pandemic. The economic havoc wrought by COVID, and the long, slow, and uncertain recovery ahead, means that students in developing countries like Thailand are beginning to see their dreams of a college education fade away. The Fund will provide grants and various forms of financial counseling to help students most in need meet the higher costs their families were unprepared for, even before COVID left most of them unemployed.
