About
I've worked in retail, inventory management, a contractor for painting/flooring, deliveries, and computer-related programs such as QuickBooks for money management. I'm very adaptive and can work long hours while maintaining the same level of focus and professionalism throughout. I'm quick to learn new experiences that I've never done before and can work alone or as a team member. I'm open to critique and am flexible in my approach to work challenges. I'd love to participate in any type of labor be it physical or mental. This past year or so, as I've found myself on my own and no car, I would commute daily by bike (several miles a day) to both my jobs amidst the seasonal changes and still having ample energy to focus on fitness, learning, and finishing my jobs as they come. I'm the type to ask questions if something isn't clear at first, and you'd find that it eventually levels out as I learn enough to apply myself as soon as possible. I ask questions in general when I see something isn't clear, there's miscommunication evident, or for the sake of efficiency, discussion & clarity.

Jul 2021 – Sep 2022
Brentwood, NY
Logistics
Helping process financial mail in which the procedure would differ depending on location and vendor. I would often reliably input data consistently and rapidly with almost nonexistent error rate. Data input in Excel and making sure job-related movelogs would be scanned into the system (which help keep track of financial mail procedures). Making sure delivery trucks on the yard are input throughout the day. In addition I would be responsible for strapping boxes of mail on the line on occasion, cross-trained to several different areas throughout my time there, and was responsible for grabbing lunch for the team. I would often work 12 hours per day and even longer during month-end mailings where the volume of work would increase significantly.

Sales Representative
I had several responsibilities, ranging from heavy lifting to data management on Excel. At first I was responsible for maintaining and cleaning appliances, which then led to me keeping track of the warehouse's inventory via Excel and QuickBooks, tying in to customer information and keeping track of where sales are going, for how much, quantity of items, etc. On occasion I would also go out with coworkers to deliver appliances as well as fix them. I would also try to to keep a clean environment and help with maintaining the place.

Kendall, FL
Inventory Clerk
I mainly had a stock room position but responsibilities varied throughout my time there. I had to ensure inventory completely came out of several trucks per week. I would handle heavy items as well as handling smaller, fragile items. I also made sure objects that needed to be put together (i.e., furniture, decorations, etc.) were done so before being placed out into display. I had to work as a team with others to keep an efficient workflow and solve daily issues. At some points I would be sent outside the stock room to stock inventory on shelves or assist customers.
