I am Charlene Joy Baptista, from Manila, Philippines. I am currently working as a remote accountant for a firm in Australia. I have previously worked for a Big Four accounting firm (4 years) catering clients in Australia and the United States. I am a certified public accountant, is Xero and Quickbooks certified.
My Australian tax and accounting experience involved preparation of tax forms (ITR , BAS, IAS) and financial statements using various accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB) for individuals, trusts, companies and trusts along with their supporting workpapers. I have been also doing monthly management accounting which includes accounts reconciliation, cash-flow reporting and bookkeeping using Xero and Quickbooks.
As for my US experience, I have been preparing Federal and State returns for partnerships and corporations using GoSystems.
Apart from that, I have good project management and communication skills since I have been handling small teams in my jobs.
