Duties and Responsibilities - Ensures all construction activities are executed as per approved drawing and specifications. -Prepares the Program of works for the project this include Gantt Charts, Task sheets and Comprehensive project report on daily basis. - Prepares the Bill of Quantities for the project and all the Current Payment schedules and Project Cost Schedules for the entire project. -Coordinates with all the sub-contractors on site to ensure that all activities are done in accordance to the specifications and desired quality. - Co-ordinates project meetings, maintains meeting records and agreed actions, and follows through to ensure actions are completed. - Ensures that all on-site resources including construction material and teams are properly utilized. - Monitors and reports to the client on the project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner. -Ensures that the quality of workmanship is on top notch through proper methodology, supervision and instruction to the project foreman and workforce. -Properly documented changes to specifications, work scope, drawings and project cost schedules of the project. -Prepares the inventory for the materials to ensure proper utilization and handling. - Safety on site is paramount, therefore ensures the construction workers wears their PPE’s gear and proper housekeeping in the construction site done to minimize injuries.
