Dear team of Remote Hub, My name is Chema Vidal and I would love to through my hat in the ring for a role as English-Spanish-English translator/editor/proof reader. I am an 'all over the place' background translator with vocations that pointed in many different directions; music.architecture, travel industry... clearly not language focused. However, and due to the most unexpected events and people (it is always the people, right?), I ended up joining projects that helped translating, proof reading, and editing a broad range of materials (published and private). These and many other circumstances allowed me to exercise, refine, and enjoy my translating skills. As normal as it could appear nowadays, remote working has always been my medium of production and most of the work I have translated was done remotely. Motivation, privacy, and the precise meeting of deadlines are credos fundamental to my profession that contribute further in making me believe that I could be the right person to fill this position.
