The Fundación Agreste is an NGO committed with the challenge of effective participation in environmental care, promoting initiatives aimed to expanding opportunities for Sustainable Development and strengthening civil society. It works to improve the quality of life and the environmental diversity, as a global concept that involves the respect for human rights preserving cultural, social, human and ecological heritage.
Its objectives are focused on promoting environmental awareness and environmental education for sustainable development; promote studies to mitigate and recover areas in degradation process; promote the creation of evaluation and monitoring sites; and favour the advocacy for the development of policies to promote sustainable development, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
