The Victoria Souls Together Association is a non-profit organization founded in 2021, like response to the needs that we have seen in Romanian society in recent years, whose mission is:
Safe and happy childhood - We protect and support children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. We make sure their voices are heard and we campaign to make lasting improvements to their lives.
We believe that people deprived of their liberty must be helped to recover their own lives. We work with international NGOs to use our collective voice and experience to stimulate change that has a positive impact on the families of people deprived of their liberty, communities and society.
We have in mind a society in which our dependence on incarceration will be replaced by constructive, community-based responses.
Our mission is about a vibrant, independent and resilient voluntary sector that allows people to transform their lives.
Our association is a pioneer in this sector. We want to carry out projects that change people's lives and give them the opportunities necessary for healthy development by contributing together with volunteering and philanthropy in a unique way.
Our mission is to improve the lives of people deprived of their liberty in prisons living in small, unsafe and unhealthy spaces and to create socially inclusive and cohesive communities, supporting social reintegration.
