Experience and excellence are my secret ingredients.
Born in Uruguay and raised in a Spanish speaking home, first in Montevideo and then in Buenos Aires, I moved to Paris when I was 20. I lived, studied and worked in France for two decades.
I've got my Masters degree in Spanish and Latin America Studies at La Sorbonne in 1999 and then I moved to New York City to work for a fashion designer for two years.
Back to Paris in 2001, I worked in multilingual environments for 5 years until I set up as a freelancer translator in 2007.
I have worked extensively (and still do) for luxury brands, cosmetics and beauty. Translating, adapting and transcreating marketing and communications copies, such as the Benefit seasonal catalogue; web content; sell training, product training; subtitiling commercial and institutional cuts, for brands such as Guerlain, Channel, Dior, Jean Paul Gautier, Givenchy, jus to name a few of them.
More recently, I have successfully expanded my services to fiels such as water engineering, industrial machinery, wines, e-commerce, medical, economy and public administration.
I believe in the power of words, delivering versions that read like originals is my obsession.
None of my clients has ever complained about the quality of my work and I am very proud of it!
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
Warm regards,
Daniela
