About
Born and raised in Genova, Italy, I grew up in a bilingual and bicultural environment which, from an early age, allowed me to develop a passion for foreign languages and cultures. I obtained my Bachelor's in Translation and Interpreting Studies double majoring in Spanish and German from the University of Genova (Italy) in 2011, my Master's in 2015, and my Doctorate in Hispanic Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2017. I have ten years of experience teaching Spanish in higher education and three years volunteering as an English-Spanish interpreting in the medical field. Working in higher education for a decade has allowed me to enhance many skills, such as professionalism, time management, problem solving, and working in a team. Additionally, I am also fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian.
