About
If it happened and you watch a movie in Arabic on NETFLIX, checked the Arabic version of Apple website, read an Arabic article on Human Rights Watch or Harvard Business Review (HBR), or listened to a United Nation Conference; there is a big chance that you encountered one of my works! My name is Ed Beetar, an English/Arabic translator residing in Washington D.C., USA. I have 15 years of experience in Translation and Interpreting and six years of experience in Journalism. I have a bachelor’s degree in “Translation and Interpreting” and a long list of well-serviced clients. I can understand the dialects of most of the Arab World (perfectly: Gulf Region, Levant, Egypt, and North Africa) and tailor my translation to target those regions. I was able to do effective interpreting/translation services across the Middle East / North Africa region for many years. For me, translation is not a job; it is a passion. My ability to type +120 words per minute for Arabic and +80 words per minute for English made me handle more word count per day than my peers and deliver my projects at least 10% to 20% faster. When you look at my clients’ names from my resume, you will see that they are the best in their fields, they seek perfection, professionalism, and outstanding performance. I am bringing the services that I gave to those A-List companies/organizations to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions. My latest projects include a translation project for the U.S. Department of Energy, an interpreter in a high-profile multi-million-dollar legal case, a military presentation from a U.S. Consulting company to a Middle East country, the Arabic subtitles of the Human Rights Watch annual fundraising event. Thanks Ed Beetar
