Clerk
While working at EWMSC, one of the country’s primary health care facilities, I was praised for impressive efficiency in carrying out my duties while positioned in the Medical Records department, inclusive of,
• inputting patient data into a computerized database in an easily retrievable manner,
• carefully gathering and organizing the physical files of patients,
• ensuring the order was maintained in the shelving of said files in the designated filing rooms.
Here, I was able to deeply develop organizational and teamwork skills. I approached my tasks of aiding personnel who required information on patients' medical records, as well as giving general assistance to persons, with a sense of politeness and a determination to help.
I also occupied a position in the Industrial Relations department where I was able to further exercise my administrative skills as my duties entailed,
• creating and administering letters and memoranda for different members of staff of the various departments in EWMSC,
• attending meetings where I would diligently and attentively take minutes of the meeting to keep a record and inform others of important decisions made, plans of action created and other key topics discussed, and
• reviewing documents and reports with the purposes of staying informed on the activities of the departments, correcting errors, and making suggestions for improvement.
