Children's Book Illustrator + Commission Work

Currently, I am working on a project in which I am illustrating an educational children's book in my spare time. I am doing this through Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. I am passionate about this project as I feel it excels in bringing out my personality and style as an artist through my work. I am enjoying working with vibrant colours and playful textures to convey my concepts. I am also working on commission work for clients who request digital illustrations, prints, and paintings on canvas. I have been working on this for the past few months and have been keen on delivering the best work that I can achieve to suit the clients needs.

Sales Assistant

I worked for 5 years serving the public as a sales assistant. I worked on the shop floor, and this enabled me to meet many different people from all over the world. In this role I learned valuable skills such as working on tasks both individually and as part of a team, communication skills, ensuring customer satisfaction and problem solving skills. I made it my priority everyday to make sure the customer had a satisfactory experience with the company.

Provenance Events Technology Conference

Commissioned Work for Designing Mascots

In 2018 I was commissioned to design 'mascot' illustrations of each speaker that was present at Provenance Events Conference. I designed 19 illustrations of zoomorphic caricatures of each speaker at the conference.

UXDX Conference

Sep 2017 – Oct 2017

Commissioned Illustrations

At this event I was commissioned to illustrate caricature drawings of each of the speakers present at the event. The illustrations were used as gifts for each speaker at the event, and I received a high amount of praise for the work considering I was still studying at the time.
