I know how to wear many hats, and more importantly, I learn rapidly. Wildish Botanicals stands out as a visionary business in Portland, Oregon. The apothecary features an impressive collection of dried herbs (95% sourced with 300 miles of the shop), ingenious in-house formulations and a wealth of locally made herbal products from other creators. I worked alongside Wildish Botanicals from its inception and: -Created templates for all intellectual assets, company documentation and wrote contracts. -Assisted in product formulation, ingredient sourcing and wrote inventory procedures. -Took part in carpentry and stonemasonry to build out the shop -Helped the business owners manage finances and work towards profitability Then, COVID-19 emerged. Seeing the necessity of e-commerce, I convinced the business owners to transition from ShopKeep to Shopify. During this time, I built Wildish a complete e-commerce ecosystem and: -Rebuilt the entire catalog on Shopify, with and without CSV migration -Revamped the catalog information architecture and organization -Created a fully operational e-commerce website, replete with customizations -Merged new and old payment processors and merchant services -Integrated social media platforms Hootsuite for management -Built an asset database on Google Drive -Set up newsletter contact on MailChimp -Listed the business on Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google My Business -Handled basic SEO including site tags, updated site maps and search engine descriptions -Installed several Shopify apps -Established carbon neutral shipping with Sendle This e-commerce ecosystem achieves an industry leading 5.15% purchase conversion rate though the website, and allowed the business to remain functional amidst COVID-19 shutdowns. **I no longer manage these projects.**

Lazarus Naturals

Lazarus Naturals creates hemp supplements with a vision to make pure, potent phytoremedies available to all. After much research and cost benefit analysis, I convinced the company to invest in vertical integration. With control over its own supply chain, the company had a chance at becoming a national leader in the hemp industry. The company purchased 80 acres in Central Oregon to start growing industrial help, and I completed the following to implement this plan: -Created a database of materials and equipment to acquire on Google Sheets with expenses, sources, order processing times and priorities -Conducted extensive in-person and on-line research to plan out the growing process including propagation, cultivation, processing and transport of the crop -Coordinated with over a dozen contractors to build out the farm, including: 1. The installation of two 3,600sqft greenhouses which required appropriate permitting, electrical configuration and equipment for interior propagation and incubation of plants 2. Converting established overhead irrigation to in-ground irrigation which required extensive consultation with an irrigation expert, research to purchase the proper machinery and supplies, and calculation of water requirements given existing infrastructure capabilities 3. Performing widespread soil amendment which required consultation with local farmers on the advantages and disadvantages of plowing and tilling, comparing established cultivation methodologies and pricing out the options, and implementing plans for fertilization including infrastructure, nutrient dispersion calculation and the acquisition of various products. -Wrote job descriptions, recruited, interviewed and trained employees with varying degrees of competence and responsibility
