About

Hi, I’m Francesco Milanesi, currently a student in International Marketing Management in Emmen, Netherlands. I have working experience in proofreading, content creating and Sales & Marketing activities. At first I worked for 2 months in a small hotel in the Italian Alps, then for 3 months remotely for XDeers, a Web Marketing Agency based in Switzerland, and then for Hilton (in a beautiful historical villa in Milan turned into a hotel) for 1 year. Because of Covid-19 I lost my job and, since I had studied only how to do Marketing for hotels, I decided to go back to study Marketing for all companies abroad at the well-known NHL Stenden University. Then, you need to know I’m a novelist and I love doing it. I have always had the great passion to observe everything, read a lot and live and write stories in my turn. I developed my skills even unconsciously, then my studies at the Classical Lyceum have taken them to a higher level, providing me with all the rhetorical tools, the knowledge of literature and various styles. Thanks to the deep knowledge of grammar and storytelling in 3 languages (my French is only basic) I am a precise and quick proofreader and/or content creator for articles, posts and various documents.

I was given the chance to work for this beautiful hotel, where I learned how to interact with colleagues all over the world, since it is part of the Hilton group. I increased a lot my teamwork skills and learned how to interact with people of other businesses , since the 50% of my job was to build some new relationship with companies and to keep strong the already existing ones. 25% was to keep an eye on the customer journey, editing what was necessary; the last 25% was working on the social & media activities together with the other members of the team. But the main thing I learned is that, even if a company has different departments, everyone helps each other.
