I was born in Lodi, California, and raised in Amarillo, Texas. I am the oldest of four children, and I grew up attending a small, private school, where I originally began learning Spanish. My family moved to Bucyrus, Kansas, during my sophomore year of high school, and I finished high school as a homeschooler. I graduated from Baker University in May 2019 with a major in International Business and a minor in Spanish. I fell in love with the Spanish language and culture while living in Texas and during visits to my grandparents in the Rio Grande Valley. Spanish is a passion of mine, and I have developed a longing to help people who want to learn to speak a new language with fluency and confidence.
As a language tutor and a passionate learner, my goal is to maximize opportunities for students to acquire skills in a new language and put them into practice. In the end, the ability to communicate in a second language will equip the students for their future goals, whether it be for their career, for the benefit of others, or for their dreams.
