About
As the Head of Design, I co-ordinate the performance and optimisation of the design department’s effectiveness to guide the client commercial efforts. I repositioned NFRN through all 27 divisions over a four-week deadline; this included redesigning the central brand architecture and the 26 sub-logos. I co-ordinated with the communication officers based in London, Fife and Belfast. The outcome showed the true ethos of the company and portrayed it to all its 15,000+ members. I initiated the campaign ‘Putting Members First’ overseen all graphic material, with over 1 million publications per year within print budgets. Social and brand awareness increased 300% by organised internal communications structure via visual graphics. I covered different aspects of dual branding and core partnership agencies; requirements included a specific brand logo like Peace IV and Armagh Banbridge Craigavon District Council logos to work alongside each other. Typical scenarios are news media adverts EURES Crossborder that may have 24hr deadline. Planning for these moments is vital, and providing each client with a brand guideline booklet helps meet deadlines. It offers flexibility for both brands’ logos to co-exist within the execution without compromising or fighting with each other. The guidelines also instruct on poster design, typographic styles and colour options. I consulted in developing and maintaining new brand design principles for Dunraven Systems, brand and style for clients and provide advice on all hard copy and digital design work, websites and published items. I provocatively set out a three-step response for Wellbeing Lurgan, those in need of mental health issues within the local community to use the website or App to get help. The core focus was to introduce a quick SMS service or the three-step click through. Project managed and designed all aspects from brief to deadline constraints within the government-funded budget set out in the guidelines.

Branding
I'm responsible for major IoT branding contracts; Dunraven Systems, Apollo Infinity Radar. I got tasked with brand naming the new software for Dunraven Systems. I lead my design team using the 5 step branding exercise: Investigate, strategy and narrative, design, implementation and visualisation. The result was the Delta Software brand.
