Ghana Clean Advocacy (GCA) is a Non-Governmental Organization focusing on the Natural Resources and Environment Governance in Ghana. We are made up of advocates from all walks of life.
We started work in the year 2004 and got registered in 2007. It all started with an Environmental sanitation advocacy talk-show on Choice FM in Accra. The program run every Saturday morning between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. for five years. The cost of airtime was paid for by Directors with Support coming in later from Fan Milk Ghana and FC Beauty Klinic.
The team engaged in advocacy until 2009 when it decided to get busy with some water access advocacy and hand-washing education programs in primary schools.
We are a member of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Network in Ghana with relations with many others Sanitation advocacy groups.
Our head office is located at O/S 12310/09, GW-0117-9272, Lime Street, Fise in the Ga North Municipal Assembly, Greater Accra-Ghana.
