About
I have extensive experience with different international and local organizations in the sectors of health, shelter, protection, education, food security, and WASH. These organizations include DRC, NRC, Premiere Urgence, MADA, Save the Children, and currently IOCC. I have also 7 years of customer services experience in the food and beverages industry. When I first joined IOCC as a Senior Health Officer, there were only 13 team members and two donors (UNICEF for nutrition and UNHCR for supporting two PHCCs and IYCF activities). Through effective communication with the donors, I was able to gain their full trust, recruit 102 employees and 54 community engagement volunteers, and develop high quality program plans. Moreover, I helped attract more donors such as BMZ, LHF, and DKH. These achievements led to my promotion to Health Area Coordinator within less than a year. Programs I took lead in included the COVID-19 response in the North, the mental health integration into PHCCs, the malnutrition program, and two emergency programs covering August 4 blast and Tleil explosion. In this role, I managed to recruit, build the capacity, and supervise all team members on a daily basis while maintaining the quality of the work and ensuring the team’s motivation. Moreover, I maintained close communication with the donors in order to obtain funds needed for project implementation. I also took part in the procurement of all needs, the monitoring and evaluation of activities, while at the same time coordinating with different stakeholders (e.g., MoPH, local governance, and different NGOs to insure non-overlapping of activities). One program I helped developed is the integration of mental health into PHCCs in the areas of T5 and Akkar. This program was able to collaborate with RESTART and reduce the load on them and other organizations by offering free mental health services and psychotropic medication to all those in need. In the COVID-19 response, I ensured a full response team including the inclusion of a rapid response team, epidemiology team (PCR rapid testing), isolation facility, and a community engagement team for COVID-19 vaccination. Furthermore, I am a committee member of Lebanon Humanitarian iNGO Forum (LHIF) where I receive information on the socio-political situation in Lebanon, including any relevant security concerns and activity updates. In terms of personal attributes, my experiences with managing different teams have equipped me with strong leadership and communication skills. Moreover, I am able to effectively empathize with my team and to resolve interpersonal disputes while maintaining respect to different cultures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to manage multiple tasks;I have good team spirit and ability to work with diverse profiles.I am able to adapt to stressful environments. For instance, during the fuel shortage crisis, I contracted with two gas stations to ensure the continuation of the project. For these reasons, I believe I have the demonstrated skills, experience and motivation to be an effective member of your organization.
