A world-of-data-inspired Data and Predictive Business Analyst who is extremely fascinated with the insights derivable from and the amazing things one can do with data. I just so love exploring data, and no other career would make me happier, maybe largely due to my natural high level of curiosity. Lately, this is the only activity that I have noticed that I can get entangled with and lose track of time.
I am abreast with the latest cutting-edge technologies in the field and skillful with the use of Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and Python (and its libraries, such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn). I enjoy working on projects personally as well as collaboratively as a team. I am well known as someone who is very organized, works conscientiously and pays attention to details.
Having worked in the educational and industrial safety sectors with over 10- and 5 years of experience respectively in the past has helped me to understand and practice how to manage a team to achieve set organizational and personal goals. Currently working as a Data Analyst technical mentor with Udacity, I enthusiastically assist students undergoing their nanodegree programs to remove blockers to the advancement of their projects. It's just so amazing to see how my students transform into techies as they graduate, and I consider it a privilege to be part of their success stories!
