Manager Accounts and Payroll
Plans and directs accounting and payroll activities within the Finance and Payroll department by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors.
▪ Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, rewards, taxes, and other deductions. ▪ Oversee and ensure the processing of payroll changes such as new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate and timely. ▪ Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.). ▪ Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies and timely submission of monthly payments of EOBI, PESSI, PF, and Income Tax Returns. ▪ Maintain and implement up to date information on changes to payroll and taxation legislation. ▪ Prepare monthly payroll pay slips and send to employees. ▪ Handling advance loan request against monthly salary or PF, prepare calculation sheet for full and final settlement of leaving employees, leave encashment requests and reimbursements. ▪ Coordinate with Human Resource and IT Department to prepares and maintains accurate records, system updates and generating payroll reports. ▪ Assisting HR in conducting monthly, quarterly and annual employee’s performance appraisal review by preparing appraisal form and development of performance management tool kit. ▪ Participating in internal and external audits of the payroll system to find errors or areas of improvement. ▪ Generating account opening letters for new hiring, salary transfer letter to banks, employees withholding tax deduction certificates, salary confirmation letters and pay slips etc.
