Welcome, my name is Hugo and my middle name Pouca Roupa,
which means ‘few clothes’ in Portuguese. Yes, I know, it is quite
a funny name for one to have. I was born in Lisbon, where I lived
and studied my entire life. While in high school, I attended the
Artistic High School of António Arroio to study Graphic Design,
where I learned how to work with some of the Adobe software
programs. Afterward, I graduated in Multimedia Arts, more
specifically in the animation field, from the College of Fine Arts of
Lisbon (FBAUL). In my last year, I also did Erasmus in the Fine
Arts Complutense College of Madrid.
Currently, I work as a freelance illustrator, animator, and graphic
designer while working as a part-time Visual Education and
Digital Art professor. Yet, I am always open and searching for
new experiences that will improve me as a professional in the
creative industry.
