I have been studying the Spanish language for a combined total of six years, and I'm now finishing my BA in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture. I have taken translation courses for the last year now and have a well-rounded knowledge of the strategies and resources used for carrying out an effective translation of any document. I also come from a Spanish-speaking family so I am in constant direct contact with the language, and therefore can communicate on a conversational level as well as an academic/professional level.
I am currently looking for part-time work as a translator as I continue to pursue my professional and academic goals as a bilingual educator. Although I am not seeking full-time work in this field, I would still like to build upon this skill and continue to practice that language that I am so passionate about. I am very much available now until this fall, as I will be starting grad school.
