I worked in a high volume store during the pandemic, learning quickly in an understaffed store. I was proficient in ringing out orders, making various food items and drinks in a timely manner, and working to communicate and uphold the company policies. Washing dishes, cleaning the store, maintaining a sanitized environment, and predicting the needs of my coworkers and customers alike were also tasks I excelled in. I was awarded partner of the quarter during my time at Starbucks and was offered a shift management position.
Upon taking the Shift Management position in February 2022, I learned how to de-escalate situations, handle cash, make quick decisions in high stress situations, cultivate an inclusive and positive work environment, take leadership over a team, and problem solve to please customers and partners alike.
