Babysitter
I have babysat for family friends, ranging from the ages of 1 to 15, both boys and girls. We enjoyed playing games and reading bedtime stories. It is a great responsibility to look after children that are not your own and I take pride in my maturity, as well as my caring nature with children.

Health Care Assistant
As a health care assistant you tend to the needs of the patients as as your wider working team. Working as part of a team and using excellent communication skills is necessary to the role. The NHS' 6 C's should encompass the role, and include communication, competence, courage, commitment, compassion and care. Also, always maintaining a professional and clinically clean working environment is essential to being a healthcare professional. I have learnt the importance of care and kindness within the role, as well as developing an awareness of the image I must maintain and the people within my care.

Student Midwife
I started my training to become a midwife in September 2021 and have since done 17 weeks clinical experience. As a student, observation and participation are key components of your training and you work closely alongside not just midwives, but also doctors, nurses and HCAs. I have learnt the importance of working as part of a larger team, with the NHS' 6 C's being the core components of my role. These include communication, competence, courage, commitment, compassion and care. Also, always maintaining a professional and clinically clean working environment is important to being a healthcare professional.

Runner/Waitress
I started working as a runner/waitress at the start of 2020, and I worked an 8/9 hour shift every Sunday, known to be the pub's busiest day. The job is challenging but fulfilling, and requires you to be punctual and attentive to the needs of not only the customers but also the rest of the staff. I worked as part of a large team to provide the best possible service to customers. I have learnt people and communication skills which I believe are invaluable and transferable to any job.

Gymnastics Coach
I am a Level 0 qualified coach, and coach acrobatic gymnastics to kids of all abilities, ranging from the ages of 4 up to the ages of 13. I did 2 one hour sessions a week after school, and in the holidays I did 2 to 3 morning or day sessions a week. The club holds competitions as well as annual displays which I was always willing to help out at, and they also started offering gymnastics birthday parties that lasted around 1 ½ hours that I was always happy to get involved with.

Pre-School Assistant
I did a week work experience at my local pre-school just to gain some invaluable experience working with young children. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and gained so much confidence and knowledge of working with younger people. Due to being a gymnastics coach, I also led some basic sports classes for the children to encourage exercise and fun within sports. Also, within the week I helped chaperone the children for their sports day, making sure that they stayed safe, hydrated and shaded from the sun, as well as having fun and being able to take part in a variety of sports events.
