I ́m a pure Business, Projects and Ideas developer from scratch: a business growth addicted.
I have a background in health and nutrition, but soon I realized that entrepreneurship, management and technology were my preferable areas.
Specialized in Management and Business Administration (MBA), I have done different roles becoming a transversal asset in those areas. In fact, binding the triangle between technology, operations and the business side is one of my strong points. As I refer, I have a transversal performance at different levels of a company, understanding the business functions and touching in different areas such as management, operations, business development, sales, marketing and finance.
I love to introduce innovation and technology to improve processes, operations and business development in order to create a positive impact on the business growth side of a company. Coming from the entrepreneurship and startups area, innovation is an important part of my professional path. I consider innovation a brand image of my work, allowing me to implement new ways of solving problems.
During my professional career, I had to learn a lot, binding the practice of a professional experience with the theory of an MBA. I had to develop self- taught skills to lead multidisciplinary teams of more than 50 people in areas outside my comfort zone, where I was tested several times. With a lot of effort and hard work, since I came from a completely different area, I self- learned how to programme and manage though agile development, playing different roles in the IT area such as product owner or product and project manager. Being one of the pioneers in Remote and Flexible work implementation, the balance between professional and personal life along with the creation of a team spirit was crucial to help me surpass those challenges.
Since 2008, I help to open a restaurant, I Co-founded professional events for students, I founded a startup linking nutrition and technology, I finished my MBA, I was an invited professor of nutrition, technology and innovation, and I joined an innovative and promising startup where I grow from business developer to COO. Meanwhile I had my first daughter, one of the biggest challenges of my life. Before 2008, I was the leader of several activities for students with more than forty thousand people, I Co-founded the Portuguese traditional music group "grupo de fados", and I finished my first graduation in food science, nutrition and health.
Currently I am looking for a company that is willing to hire a bold and competent leader. A professional that could bring years of experience to improve operations and productivity, maximize profits and ensure strong future growth. What I ask in return is recognition (financial, career progress, professional and personal recognition) and a possibility to grow inside the company after proving my work.
