in IBA’s portfolio of Proton Therapy Treatment Rooms. Hired and managed 2 teams of 8 project engineers for 2
sequential site installations, each lasting about 1 year. Collaborate with R&D, logistics, sub-contractors,
architects, and construction managers to construct, calibrate, commission, and validate medical accelerator
equipment.
Delivered IBA’s second ProteusOne in the world in Royal Oak MI. Leveraged management reserves to
acquire additional resources and emergency supplies. This mitigated significant risk to project schedule
and scope due lagging product development.
Planned and started project execution of a ProteusOne in Jacksonville FL. Coordinated requirements,
construction design controls, and schedule forecasting with a team of 25 subject matter experts,
construction managers, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
Negotiated quality requirements to carry equipment through the clinical release phase-gate of internal
R&D process. Avoided schedule delays and mitigated costly legal risk to customer.
