Working with Nigeria LNG Limited, I was a professional document coordinator with responsibilities to support project documentation from inception to execution, to As-Built, Handover and Use. Some of sure projects include the Boil off Gas Compressor (BOG), BOG project engages the services of Delattre Bezons Nigeria Limited (DBN) and its ‘numerous subcontractors as Integrator, and Siemens Energy and Schnider Electric as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Nitrogen Capacity Enhancement Project engages Dover Engineering Limited as Design Partner, Desicon Engineering Limited as integrator and AirProducts, FSElliots Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The NLNG flagship Project – The Train 7 which is ongoing engages the consortium of Saipem, Chioda and Deawoo (SCD JV) as the main contractor charged with the EPCC responsibilities. In all these projects I interfaced and see to the day-to-day project documentations exchanged to and from company with these contractors / partners, which most of the activities revolved around d the heavy use of MS Excel and Assai as Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). It is worth noting that these project generated hundreds of heavy amount of Metadata traffic, documents, and drawings, calculation notes etc every day.
