The corporate claims representative is responsible for the review of claim contents in files to confirm it is complete and ready to invoice, Review cost incurred to confirm they are collectible. Attempt to collect the invoice amount from the responsible party and/or identified source of insurance. I created training material on sending documents to legal counsel via electric systems, and led training sessions for the claims dept. Identify and legal problems with the receivable claim. Manage outside legal counsel, provide litigation support, update the management system and resolve by negotiation or legal judgment against the responsible party. Prior to this position I was promoted from the customer service contact center. Where I handled various calls ranging from outage, credit and billing. I analyzed account information to determine the cause of high bill inquiries. I handled disconnections/ reconnection of service and payment plan arrangements to prevent termination of service.
